Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs, and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The rotating mop spins fast and utilizes 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a bit more than other robots. This is useful in tight corners or along baseboards. The front arms can be used to sweep larger objects, such as broken toys and fallen books.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It doesn't make as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming, and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's simple to install and performs well however it's something you'll have to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum solely for the purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our test, but it also has distinct features that make it worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its massive dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as an 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base comes with several control buttons, which allow you to manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot, or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Press two of the buttons to toggle a child lock that is a great option for parents concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. It's also an excellent choice for an industry dominated by boxes.
