I was able get it up and running in just five minutes - which is remarkable considering it also includes the ability to attach fabric to the carrycot.

The seat is large and comfortable for Annie who is 12 months old. The recline lever was simple to operate. The basket has plenty of room and I like that the handle bar features pockets to keep your phone and keys safe.

The handlebar is low, which may be a problem for parents who are taller. It's covered with a soft, comfy leather-like material that is easy to clean.

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is a great choice for parents who love to explore and are always on the go. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field trails, and the front wheel can be swivelled and locked to give you more flexibility. The stroller comes with five-point safety harnesses with a front bar that keeps your child secure on every trip. The parking brake keeps the stroller on its feet while you take a rest. The seat can be adjusted to a laying position and the canopy can be opened maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate mum or dad's heights.

If you're planning a quick jog or a hike that lasts a while The Runner is ready to accompany you on your journeys with a fully-flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee smooth, safe ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide more stability on narrow streets or crowded sidewalks. The stroller can also fold in order to fit into car boot spaces and storage areas.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to maneuver for some parents than its predecessor. The new Pace features some stunning design features such as a rose-gold shade on the hood, chassis and stroller trims that really make it stand out. The grey, tan and cream fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are super stylish and there is an option to add an coordinating handle for the cover and bumper bar too.

The stroller seat can be used from birth up to 22kg. It easily converts into a 2-in-1 reversible position, which is either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat comes with several lie-back positions, plus soft padded legs rests, and an extendable sun canopy with zip-off sections that are concealed and a transparent flap, and retractable visor.

What's more, when it's folded in half, the Pace measures up at 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among other airlines. It's also easy to fold, thanks to two buttons on either side of the handlebar that you can click into and then pop out.

I tried it out with my two children - an infant and an eight-week-old - on the rocky roads, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.

The puncture-proof wheels are big - 22cm and 30cm - so they can cope with all kinds of terrain. The wheels have a flap that can be closed or opened to let air in when required. It's a bit bigger than some pushchairs, but it does not feel heavy or bulky when pushing it across bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are simple to clean. It's also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt safe using it in busy city streets. It has built-in accessory points so you can attach parasols and footmuffs along with changing bags, snack trays, and even snack tray. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, though it's not particularly waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) which allows your child more leg room. The bassinet took around 20 minutes to set-up, and it took a similar time to convert it into a seat.
