Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust dirt, grit) and wet messes (spills, staining) in one session without the need to change devices. They also can save space in comparison to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

You can, for example request the robot cleaner to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly, but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It is able to detect small obstacles that other models cannot. Its only issue is that it tends to crash into walls and objects at a high speed. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity which allows it to remove smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners may miss.

The Roborock model, just like the other two I tested is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it overcome obstacles like furniture, walls and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by adding a dual camera which can detect objects and determine whether they are a wall or another surface. It will then automatically alter its path and clean the objects without a pause.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed however, it's also the most packed with features. Its sleek angular design is striking and comes with three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which resumes the cleaning mop button, which doubles as a child lock and a home button to bring the robot hoover to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid, you will find a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin auto-refills.

The only downside I found with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for manual washing. The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of clever features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
