A warning was issued for a brand of men's energy pills after it was found they contain a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) issued the warning for HERO Instant Energy for Males capsules on Wednesday after discovering the drug Taladafil (or Cialis) was used as an undeclared ingredient.

The ingredient is used to treat erectile dysfunction but can interact with other prescription drugs and lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.

Taladafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction but can interact with other prescription drugs, such as diabetes and heart disease medicine, and 시알리스복용방법 lower blood pressure to dangerous levels

People with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease are warned HERO Instant Energy could interfere with their medication. 

Anyone with health concerns should contact their GP.

Taladafil is a Schedule 4 prescription only drug, meaning it is now illegal to sell or 시알리스복용방법 promote HERO Instant Energy in Australia. 

It is understood the energy capsules were sold online and imported to Australia but were not listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.

'The TGA advises consumers that if they are considering buying therapeutic products online it is important to be careful, especially when the seller does not ask for a valid prescription,' the TGA.

'Products not entered into the ARTG may be counterfeit (fake), containing undeclared (hidden) ingredients that could cause severe adverse reactions.'
