She also was awarded an Facilities Engagement grant to create guidelines for managing vulnerable patients in hospitals.

She is the Provincial Practice Leader for Psychiatry at BC Cancer, Clinical Associate Professor at UBC and Past-President of the BC Psychiatric Association. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine and an adjunct faculty participant in the UM PM&R and Family Medicine residency programs. She has a longstanding interest in research and education on musculoskeletal issues. She currently teaches Neuromuscular and Musculoskeletal Medicine to Family Medicine residents and has ongoing research projects in musculoskeletal education electrodiagnostic medicine, and performing arts medicine.
