The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. It does not use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best robot vacuum cleaner mop-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is set up it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. And its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a major issue if you want to own one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or furniture piece, it gently bumps into it before moving on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden from view, as well as cleans and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's items that need to be removed regularly, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even if you are not at home. It also has more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni has the best robot mop for wood floors mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features that you do not often find on robots of this price range. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are useful however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
