Lamborghini Enters the World of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

After a series of social media posts that hint at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally announced its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. Space Key was developed in collaboration with a non-publicized artist and based on advanced carbon fiber composite materials that were shipped to the International Space Station as research material, is a project that has been announced by lamborghini key programming.

The physical element is imprinted with an NFT serial number that is linked to the corresponding digital artwork by using a QR code on the back.

For those who don't aware, NFTs are unique identifiers recorded on a distributed blockchain ledger that is linked to digital assets such as a video, image or other type of record. This allows owners to ensure the authenticity, scarcity, and the traceability of their tokens on the internet.

Oefner utilized a balloon with a camera to take each of the individual shots which were then merged into the final image. The result is a picture that is completely out of the world. It captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic image of a car rising away from the Earth. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned off in the near future, but there is no specific date or location as of yet.

The auction
