WoW Upgrades - The Best item upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades can give you an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll an exact version.

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear from other sources. For instance upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points while purchasing the same item from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items which can be used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and other accessories. They can be purchased from item upgraders NPCs for various currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with an button, which will show a preview of the item at its next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item upgrading and the current level of the item and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of the Flightstones or crests used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain amount, it can be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lower amount of both currencies.

Many locations have upgraders for their items in addition to the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon and a chance to obtain a new recipe. The new currency system isn't difficult to use, but it brings some changes to the upgrade process. Once a piece of gear attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it no longer requires Flightstones. This change is designed to allow players to upgrade their equipment to the highest ilvl possible for all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests in a wise manner, as they are only used for one purpose. For instance it's a good idea to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top gear you have available and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you're planning to create. This is especially true for items such as trinkets and rings that take up several slots. The account-wide discount is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
