Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and clean provide the convenience of cleaning both dry debris and wet messes in one session, without having to switch between devices. They can also help save space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

The vacuum can last for 136 minutes in standard mode, before having to recharge or returning to the base. And you can see the complete cleaning details within the app, which is well laid out and is easy to comprehend although we would have liked to be able to differentiate between a mop only vacuum and a vacuum/mop clean when looking at a clean area in the cleaning history.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's top robot vacuum cleaner uk vacuum and mop. The only issue I have found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for washing manually. I've observed that any carpet that the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which could cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these advanced features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, monitor the battery life and maintain your components. But you'll need to jump through a few hoops in order to enable voice control on this model which is a pity considering the quality of its performance.

3. Dreame X40

Mopping is also well-designed and the double-rotating mops work well on hard floors as well as in corners. They can even extend up to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
